Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Our services.

  • Materials

A piano in the home is required. An acoustic piano is preferable and should be tuned at least once a year. If using an electric piano, it should have 88 weighted keys and a pedal.

Students need a metronome (app or device).

Students follow curriculum consisting of studio-created materials, beginner methods (Piano Safari and Piano Adventures), Royal Conservatory of Music repertoire, and a wide variety of supplementary books. Families are responsible for the cost of materials.

A notebook and a binder with dividers keeps lesson notes and additional resources organized.

  • Lesson Options

Lessons are in person. However, online lessons are available via Zoom or FaceTime.

  • Practice Expectations

Establishing a routine of daily practice is essential for good progress. Depending on their level, students should expect to practice 15-60+ minutes per day.

Students receive coaching on how to practice effectively, targeted strategies for specific skills, and step-by-step instructions.

Support from parents is critical to maintaining a practice routine.

  • Tuition

Annual tuition includes the following events:

    1. 30 individual lessons

    2. 3 group classes / masterclasses

    3. 3 studio recitals

Tuition also includes a unique list of features and benefits.

  • Missed Lessons

Teacher-missed lessons: Our teachers occasionally have to reschedule lessons due to collaborative work or school schedules. These lessons will always be made up during the Lesson Make-Up weeks in December and June.

Student-missed lessons: Missed lessons are non-refundable. However, we understand that circumstances occasionally happen that might mean a student misses a lesson.

    1. Online request: If a student is unable to make it to their lesson in-person for any reason, they may request an online lesson.

    2. Video feedback: Students may take a video of their work during the week and send it to their teacher prior to the missed lesson. The teacher will then be happy to provide feedback.

    3. Swap lesson times: Students may request to swap lesson times with another student in the studio. Parents arrange these directly with each other.
